Speaking from session one
Fluency is built by practising, not by reading about the language. From the very first session, most of the class is you speaking.
Private and group conversation classes for children, teens and adults — with a plan built around your goal. The first consultation and placement session is free.
From classrooms in Malaysia to teaching in Tehran
Hello, I am Helia Mirmortazavi, an English teacher focused on building real conversational fluency. I spent three years at MIGS International School in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where English stopped being a school subject and became the language of my daily life.
Back in Iran I noticed something: many learners had studied grammar for years yet froze in a simple conversation. That set my direction. I completed two specialist Teacher Training Courses (TTC) at Meshkat Danesh Language Institute (MLI) — one for children and teenagers, one for adults.
Today I teach at Rah-e Roshd School, Iranmehr and MLI language institutes, and privately — in person in Tehran and online across Iran. Every class rests on one principle: a language is learned by speaking it, not by memorising it.
The four principles behind every class
Fluency is built by practising, not by reading about the language. From the very first session, most of the class is you speaking.
Your goal shapes the syllabus: everyday conversation, university entrance exams, the workplace, or studying and travelling abroad.
The biggest barrier to speaking is the fear of getting it wrong. In my class, mistakes are part of the path — this is a place to practise, not to be judged.
Backed by two specialist teacher-training courses, I use current techniques matched to each age group — from games and storytelling to real-situation role-play.
A clear path for every age and every goal
Learning through play, story and song — no pressure, with motivation that lasts.
Closing the gap between school grammar and actually being able to speak.
From “I understand but I cannot say it” to speaking smoothly.
Grammar, vocabulary and test technique for the Iranian university entrance exam.
Catching up and preparing for school exams, step by step.
For when the deadline is close and you need fast results.
From first contact to your goal, in five steps
In one short, free session we establish your current level and your real goal.
Materials and topics are chosen and scheduled around your level, age and interests.
Each session blends guided conversation, listening, practical vocabulary and grammar in context — never in isolation.
Short, achievable assignments that carry over into real life. Consistency beats volume.
We review your progress at regular intervals and adjust the plan, so you always know where you stand.

Yes, completely free with no obligation. We establish your level, discuss your goal, and I suggest which course suits you.
You do not need to know anything in advance. Just book the free consultation — we establish your level there with a simple conversation. It is not a test.
The children course starts at age 7. Sessions are shorter (45 minutes) and play-based, designed around a specialist young-learners teacher training certificate.
Children 45 minutes, teens and adults 60 minutes, intensive 90 minutes. Usually one or two sessions a week, more in the intensive course.
It depends on your level, goal and above all your practice. Learners who keep up short daily practice usually feel a clear difference after 8 to 12 sessions.
